How to Cook Tapioca Pearls?
  • Boiling
Pour the tapioca pearls into boiling water and stir. Once the pearls float to the surface and the water returns to a boil, start timing. Reduce to medium-low heat, keeping the water at a gentle simmer without boiling too vigorously. Stir every 3 minutes. Cooking time varies by pearl size (refer to the chart).
  • Steaming
Once the cooking time is up, turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid. Let the pearls steam for the recommended duration based on their size.
  • Rinsing
After steaming, drain the hot water and rinse the pearls with lukewarm or cool drinking water until they become smooth.
  • Sweetening
Drain the pearls and soak them in sugar syrup (sugar-to-water ratio: 1:1). The pearls will absorb the sweetness, reaching their best flavor after about 15 minutes. They maintain a delicious texture at room temperature for up to 4 hours.
Storage Instructions for Uncooked Tapioca Pearls
Storage duration varies by product ingredients:
Frozen products can be stored for up to 1 year. Shelf-stable products last approximately 2 to 8 months. Store products at a temperature range of 4–25°C (39–77°F) and keep them away from high temperatures.
How to Heat Instant Boba(70g)
  • Microwave Method
Tear open the packaging and place the pearls in the microwave. Heat at 700–750W (medium heat) for 80 seconds or Heat at 1800W (high heat) for 30 seconds.(Note: Heating times may vary slightly depending on the microwave model.)
  • Boiling Method
Place the entire sealed package into boiling water and heat on medium heat for 4–5 minutes.
Instant Boba Storage Instructions
Store at -18°C (0°F) for optimal preservation.
Why is there moisture in the packaging?
Andes tapioca pearls are wet tapioca pearls with over 30% moisture content. When there is a large temperature difference, condensation may occur, and the moisture inside the packaging is a normal phenomenon. It is safe to use.
When the vacuum packaging is damaged, can the product still be used?
Before shipment, we check the vacuum seal. However, due to inevitable bumps or friction during transportation, the vacuum seal may be compromised. If the packaging is no longer vacuum-sealed, please do not use the product and contact us immediately.
